What NOT to do at your office Christmas Party!
Office Christmas parties have been happening for the past two week all over the city and at District Griffin we are also getting ready for it. Here are a few things not to do at your office Christmas party.
Do not be late. You wouldn’t do that at work anyway… Think about it, arriving on time allows you to leave early without seeming rude.
Do not get drunk. You must remain in control at all times; technically you’re still at work. Drink in moderation, yes it’s free alcohol but after one-too-many drinks you will be dancing on tables and unable to control your tongue.
Do not bring your car. At the end of the night you don’t want to drink and drive. Even if you’ve only had two glasses of wine, a DUI can permanently impact your career.
Do not bring a date. The last thing you want is to leave your date in a room full of strangers. You might get too romantic and your co-workers will gossip as soon as they see anything happen.
Do not wear something inappropriate. Christmas party dress code: Wear something you’d wear to your in-laws dinner party.
And finally, do not miss work the next morning!
